I want to know if i can hack the game somehow to edit some of the enemy caravans. I want to see if I can make some of them stronger, and also maybe change/add loot that i can get from them. ex i make it so some of them carry gold bars with them.

Yes, there's a way to edit them. It's a tedious process requiring lots of cross-referencing. You can see a bit of what you'll need to know before decompiling the game and editing Presets.class.asasm here:
